Only Suture Pad for SubQ Stitches.
While this pad is more expensive than many of the others found on Amazon, it’s only one I’ve found that lets you practice subcutaneous stitches without ripping. The pad rests on a Velcro patch with a plastic tube that lets you tension the pad and make it better simulate real tissue. Overall, I think this is one of the best pads for medical students since many of the opportunities they have in surgery will be performing subcutaneous stitches, interrupted or running, on port holes after laparoscopic surgery or on C-section incisions.
