Description
MedEduQuest Episiotomy Suturing Simulator is designed for midwifery and obstetrics students to practice the techniques of episiotomy and closure of postpartum vaginal injuries.
Multi-purpose Trainer: The episiotomy simulator allows for hands-on training of episiotomy, and repair of various birth injuries, including median episiotomy, mediolateral episiotomy, lateral episiotomy, vaginal tears, and labial tears.
Anatomy Representation: The perineal repair model includes simulated structures of muscles such as the external anal sphincter, superficial transverse perineal muscle, and bulbospongiosus muscle in the perineal area. This allows students to palpate and practice suturing the muscle and skin layers.
Upgraded Design: The soft insert is embedded with two protective mesh layers to safeguard the tissue, allowing students to suture multiple times and practice again after suture removal.
Convenient Usage: The episiotomy trainer comes with an adjustable holder, ensuring stable placement on the tabletop without slippage. The episiotomy model can be showcased on the holder or taken out and placed on a workbench for practical manipulation.
The episiotomy trainer includes:
- Perineal mode x1
- Support base and stand x1

The MedEduQuest Episiotomy and Suturing Simulator provides hands-on training.
It’s truly exceeded my expectations in terms of both quality and practicality. The hands-on training it provides for midwifery and obstetrics students is exceptional. The realistic simulation of various birth injuries, including different types of episiotomies and tears, allows for thorough and immersive practice. The representation of perineal muscles adds to the authenticity of the learning experience.
What sets this simulator apart is its upgraded design, featuring a durable soft insert with protective mesh layers, ensuring longevity and multiple uses. The adjustable holder contributes to stable placement during practice sessions. This simulator has become an indispensable part of my training, significantly enhancing my skills and confidence in managing perineal repairs.
I highly recommend it to fellow students and practitioners in the field.
